Egg Drumstick Curry

Egg Drumstick Curry is a unique and delicious dish. I am a big fan of egg as well as drumsticks and therefore wanted to share the recipe for Egg Drumstick Curry. Egg Drumstick Curry is just awesome when eaten with rice. Here is step-by-step method to help you prepare Egg Drumstick Curry.

Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs (boiled)
  • 4 drumsticks
  • 200g finely chopped onions
  • 100g tomatoes
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 30g ginger-garlic paste
  • 30g green chilies
  • 30g tamarind
  • 2 small bunches of cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 4-6 curry leaves
  • 100g oil
  • Salt to taste
How to prepare egg with drumsticks:-
  • Peel the egg shells and make spots on the eggs with a knife or fork.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add drumsticks, onions, salt and fry for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, green chilies, curry leaves tamarind along with water and allow cooking for 10 minutes.
  • Now, add boiled eggs and tomatoes to the above mixture and cook on low flame for next 10 minutes.
  • Garnish the preparation with cilantro and serve hot with rice.
